The job role will involve all the technical and quality aspects of primarily nickel and copper-based alloy manufacturing. Full training covering all aspects of contract review, manufacturing management and quality management will be provided (including access to 3rd-party specific training as relevant).
Typical activities conducted:
- Contract review
- Production routing
- Certification of product
- Generation of customer facing documentation
- Problem solving and root cause analysis
- Interpretation of national and international material specifications
- Continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in Physics or Material Science or similar preferable
- Aptitude for accuracy with detail.
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written capability all very important.
- Practical and resourceful.
- A minimum of a B (6/5) in Maths & English at GCSE, ideally an A in A Level Maths
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
Monday – Friday 7am-4pm
