Position Overview & Specifications
The candidate must be committed to a research vision and will be expected to assist in either clinical or translational research projects. The post will suit candidates wishing to develop subspecialty skills in Lung Cancer management and research.
The post holder will work as a Clinical Research Fellow based within the Lungs for Living Research Centre within UCL Respiratory in a team run by Professor Sam Janes.
The post holder will work as part of a team investigating the early diagnosis of Lung Cancer, helping with bronchoscopic trials and other studies.
The role may include outpatient clinic work (Lung Cancer clinics), attendance at bronchoscopy lists, participating in departmental governance and training meetings, as well as protected time to develop your own research project. The post holder will be expected to register for a PhD at University College London
