We are seeking to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious full time Art Teacher to join us in September 2023.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher who is passionate about their subject and has the skills to both challenge and encourage pupils to achieve their potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, welcoming, and exciting department teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5, as well as contributing to our Art, Photography and creative enrichment programmes.

A wide range of skills and techniques are taught within our exciting and contemporary Art department. A strong subject base within traditional media such as painting, printmaking, ceramics and drawing is desired for teaching across year groups. Additionally, knowledge of photography and digital multimedia would be ideal in order to contribute to our GCSE photography, Fine Art and A' level courses.

Drawing upon our partnership with the University of Birmingham and their world-leading research and best-practice resources, focusing on learning without limits, and combining our own diverse experience in education, the University of Birmingham School is setting an example of what’s truly possible for secondary school education – one that gives character development as much attention as academic success.
