Position Overview & Specifications
We seek a chemist or molecular biologist to work with Professor Sir Shankar Balasubramanian on genomic assays and technologies, one such example being Chem-map (DOI: 10.1038/s41587-022-01636-0), which can identify drug-DNA interaction sites in cells. The role will involve making technologies robust and scalable in addition to deploying the technology at scale. Our laboratory has a track record of translating methods and discoveries into scalable commercial technologies and there will be potential for the role holder to work on projects that have potential to be commercialised.
