You will be the first point of contact for many library and student services enquiries, whether face to face, by telephone, by email or by other contact methods. Passionate about providing excellent customer service, you will deal with routine and non-standard enquiries in a way that meets the needs and expectations of users.
This role works as part of the team in the library at our Lancaster campus, and there will be times when you are working alone. Library housekeeping duties include shelving, stock checking and tidying and helping students to locate resources.
The working pattern is 17.5 hours per week; 3.5 hours per day 13:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday.
This role is based on-site due to the practical nature of the work.
