Position Overview & Specifications

UE06: £29,619.00 - £34,308.00 Per Annum, Pro Rata.

CSG / Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability.

Open Ended Contract - Permanent; Part Time - 28 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity:

The Reporting and Administrative Officer is an important role within the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, supporting the University’s corporate reporting of social responsibility, sustainability and climate issues. The role will support the delivery of the department’s sustainability training programme, by providing comprehensive administrative support and facilitation support in the delivery of the training. The role will provide coordination and support for data protection and risk management processes across the department, including data protection impact assessments and risk registers.

Your Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Strong understanding of climate, sustainability, social and civic responsibility issues.
  • Experience of data collection and analysis, and administration tasks.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative, to cope under pressure, to maintain confidentiality, to meet tight deadlines, show flexibility and attention to detail.
  • An ability to multi task and cope with a heavy and varied workload, and to cope well under pressure and work towards tight deadlines to deliver timely and accurate work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a flexible and adaptable attitude to a continuously evolving area of work.
