Position Overview & Specifications
If you have excellent project and planning skills and you are looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge, this full time, ongoing role could be ideal.
In this role you will provide proactive, highly efficient, and comprehensive administrative and project-related support to the Project Management Office in the monitoring, control, and delivery of projects across the University. Projects will range from small self-managed improvement work to major strategic initiatives involving teams from multiple Professional Service Directorates and Academic Divisions.
What will you be doing day to day?
- Providing proactive, timely administrative support and coordination for all aspects of project activity
- Producing project reports and briefings at timely and regular intervals, identifying areas of concern or the need for further resources or focus
- Supporting project related communication activity by liaising with stakeholders to ensure that they are kept fully informed and engaged with the process
- Coordinating and promote project events and prepare briefings/communications for stakeholders to ensure appropriate participation
What will you bring to the role?
- Education to A level standard or equivalent
- Substantial experience in a similar role providing project administrative support and coordination
- Experience of setting up administrative systems and procedures for a new project
- Good project management skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and workload
