About the role
In this role, you will establish an imaging platform capable of detecting nanometer displacements of the locust’s Müller’s organ at a temporal resolution exceeding 10 kHz, working under the guidance, direction and supervision of the wider research team. Working closely with the principal investigator, you will assist the research team by synthesizing all data into publication form as well as preparing preliminary figures for grant applications.
About you
You will have extensive image processing skills, using Matlab, and have experience of dissecting the ear of the Desert locust. You will also have good physiological background.
