Now is a truly exciting time to join our dynamic and forward-looking institution; where staff, students and partners work collaboratively to create world-changing knowledge and research. We are industry-led and informed, collaborating with private, public and third sector businesses to drive innovation and productivity across our county and beyond, solving industry challenges.
The University of Lincoln is a university of and for the 21st century. Created by the people of Lincolnshire, we are as much the University for Lincoln, as the University of Lincoln. We aim to transform lives and communities, attracting talent from around the globe to create, for Lincolnshire and communities around the world, a virtuous circle of opportunity, prosperity, and economic growth.
Research & Enterprise is a central professional services department, enabling collaboration across research, innovation, and skills to stimulate economic growth and research intensification. We are looking for highly motivated, innovative and results driven colleagues to join an exciting new team within the department to drive forward ambitions in our new strategic plan.
These roles are critical to managing, expanding and deepening the University’s external commercial income generation through a broad range of mechanisms, including large scale educational contracts i.e. the provision of long- or short-term courses or validation of courses for organisations for the expressed purposes of the needs of the industrial partner (public, private or third sector); knowledge exchange; contract & collaborative research; and consultancy. These contracts would normally be obtained through a tender, bidding, or direct negotiation process with the industrial partner (public, private or third sector). You will drive partnership development and external income generation, with a particular focus on supporting a cross-College, interdisciplinary, approach to enable high success in securing significant scale contracts in Net Zero and Rural Health (Innovation in dispersed communities).
At the University of Lincoln, we embrace flexibility and a hybrid culture of working; therefore, as part of this role you will experience working as part of a vibrant campus community, with external stakeholders, and the ability to partially work remotely.
