Development Officer - MPLS

Charity People is collaborating with the University of Oxford’s world-leading Mathematics Physical and Life Sciences Development team to offer an aspiring fundraising professional the chance to learn, grow and hone their philanthropy skills in the role of Development Officer.

The role of the University’s Development Office is to help secure philanthropic support for the University. You will help raise funds for cutting-edge, innovative and life-changing research, scholarships, access and outreach, and a number of key capital projects.

You’ll also develop your skills and experience across a range of income streams, including regular giving, stewardship, legacies and major gifts.

To give you an idea of how this role will look and feel:

First and foremost, you’ll have an interest in higher education and, in particular, the potential for scientific developments to impact world issues.

You’ll ideally already have some fundraising, business development, alumni relations, or marketing experience. We’re looking for you to be able to positively and confidently engage and build rapport, both in conversation and writing.
