THE POST – Student Assistant

The University of the West of Scotland’s London Campus has been a runaway success story since its inception in 2015. The campus has grown from just 9 students in its first year, to now being home to around 3,500 students from across the world.

The London Campus team is looking to appoint an additional Student Assistant to work as part of a friendly, welcoming and diverse group. You will work within a modern campus that benefits from both state of the art equipment great transport links.

Our Student Assistants perform an exciting mix of student facing and administrative tasks, all of which are geared towards ensuring that our students receive first class support. Experience working in a higher education setting is advantageous, but not essential. Our team come from a broad range of backgrounds and full training will be provided.

Successful applicants will have:

• Experience working in client facing roles such as customer service or as a receptionist
• Intermediate IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel, email and internet use
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure information is passed accurately to students, staff and external parties
• A friendly and approachable manner, with a strong customer focus
