Position Overview
This role will work with the wider Finance team to ensure financial reporting accuracy and contribute to an effective internal control environment. The Manager, Finance & Accounting plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s finance and accounting functions are consistent across all regions of the company. The role will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
  • Assist on developing processes to report and allocate global costs across all regions
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management reports for Senior Management
  • Ensure that regional processes are consistent and aligned with global management expectations
  • Ensure the Finance Department is compliant with the Company’s operating rules, policies and procedures
Duties
  • Help manage the development of best practices, processes and policies for the Accounting teams across North America, EMEA and APAC
  • Develop financial budgets, financial reports/forecasts and investor related presentations
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop actionable and date-driven plans for the finance organization
  • Monitor and analyze results against budgets and explain variances to support production of the monthly consolidated management accounts and identify risks
  • Support the operational and commercial teams providing key insight to improve on performance and ensure consistent results
  • Assist in the development and deployment of technology solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the preparation/ production of the Company’s monthly reports
  • Support the maintenance of appropriate internal financial controls and risk management processes
  • Identify opportunities and drive optimization throughout the business to improve overall financial performance
  • Work with the FP&A team to support budgeting, forecasting and analysis
  • Support the business with adhoc requests for data, insights, financial planning and analysis
  • Ensure the Company’s internal financial control systems, processes and policies are complied with by all parts of the Company’s operations
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Finance or professional qualification, strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, strongly preferred
  • Experience of working in a Data Center or Critical Infrastructure environment, preferred but not essential
  • Experience in dealing with customer issues and problem solve
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with vendors and other service providers.
  • Fluency in English essential. Fluency in other languages relevant to the region being managed an advantage.
  • Assertive and confident with a high level of personal and professional credibility
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to lead and engage people in a fast-changing environment to achieve results through others
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing and negotiating at the most senior levels
  • Work effectively in collaboration cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives
  • Confident decision maker, even with incomplete or limited information
  • Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes
