Day Chemist

Salary: Starting at £30,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday 06;00-14:00 and 11:00-19:00 weekly rotation

Location: Ellesmere Port

What you'll be doing;

• Sample & analysis of Tankers and issuing off-load instructions
• Blend make-up instructions, analysis & reporting
• Compatibility testing of all Chemical movements
• Analysis of effluent treatment & plant generated samples
• Analysis and reporting of customer samples
• Environmental monitoring and reporting, including daily graphs
• Cooling tower monitoring, analysis and record management
• Site radiation & gas monitoring and recording
• Any other site analysis/ monitoring requested by management

What we're looking for;

• Relevant Chemistry degree or similar qualification
• Previous experience gained in a similar role / environment is desirable. However full training will be provided
• A drive to develop, and work as part of a team
