Position Overview & Specifications

Transport Administrator

Salary - £26,000 per annum, plus Veolia benefits

Location - East London - E14 6RH

Hours - 40 hours per week.

We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to 'Resource the World'. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our Transport team.

As a Transport Administrator at Veolia, you will work as part of a team to provide support by ensuring all relevant administration tasks are completed in a timely fashion whilst resolving customer queries and requests.

What will you be doing?

  • To receive / respond to telephone and mail enquiries and queries from customers relating to collections and queries.
  • Complete general administration duties to ensure compliance.
  • Take effective notes/minutes of meetings.
  • Deal efficiently with any customer requests.
  • Deal proficiently with any queries to find a suitable resolution.
  • General data input.

What are we looking for?

  • GCSE qualifications, minimum GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Good keyboard ability to use Google Docs, Sheets and various web based applications.
  • Flexible attitude with a positive approach to work.
  • An effective team member with good communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
