What you’ll be doing...

You will become the primary FP&A business partner to support the Sales Managing Director of a region for budgeting and targeting, business performance reporting and analysis, and revenue forecasting.
You will develop expertise in understanding the business trends, revenue drivers, and the accounts in this region.


This key role within the FP&A team requires both strong analytical skills and communication skills, and will include frequent interactions with various teams across all management levels supporting this region: Sales Leadership, Accounts Managers, Sales Operations, Project and Service Management, Pricing and Commercial Management, and Finance.

In you day to day activities you will:

  • Lead the monthly Revenue forecasting cycles, prepare revenue analysis and narratives, follow-up and drive revenue gap closure initiatives, and present the results with actionable insights to the Regional Sales MD and FP&A Sr. Mgmt.

  • Provide clear and concise business and performance analysis to Regional MD and to FP&A Mgmt.: Funnel trends, Sales/Bookings trends, Incremental Sales tracking, Revenue trends, Sales Reps Productivity,…

  • Provide support to Regional Sales MD for the preparation of business reviews with Sr. Leadership.

  • Review the performance of Sales staff with the Regional Sales MD, and advise on targets adjustments.

  • Lead the annual planning cycle: set Sales Bookings and Revenue targets per account and product for the region, in collaboration with FP&A Management, Sales MD, and Sales Operations.

  • Perform FP&A governance for the region.

  • Build relationships with the various departments supporting the region, to understand the accounts and the business trends and drivers in the region.

  • Create visualisations to a high standard, suitable for presentation to Senior Leaders.

  • Automate repeatable tasks through digitalisation.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelors Degree or relevant experience.

  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA certification.

  • Experience in budgeting, planning and forecasting.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance / Economics / Business Administration.

  • Experience in business decision support (finance/sales) in a large complex organisation.

  • Strong analytical skills, number oriented, comfortable working with large sets of data.

  • Excel advanced level (Pivot Tables, graphs,…), and Powerpoint skills.

  • Business acumen, and understanding of Telecoms and IT industry, interest in technology sector.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with various teams across all management levels, and assertiveness.

  • Ability to dig into the details to understand business trends, and to summarize and communicate business issues effectively.

  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment and to meet deadlines.

  • Client-oriented, pro-active initiative taker, team player, and positive “can do” mindset.

  • Experience of Visualisation tools.

  • Knowledge of databases and of Excel to very advanced level (Macros,…)

  • Experience with automation of processes and Business Intelligence tools.

  • Intellectual curiosity and the confidence to question processes and propose and implement alternatives.
