We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join an industry leading, employer of choice in Newport. As Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC or NC finishing machines.

Additional responsibilities:

• Carrying out routine operator maintenance tasks
• Ensuring that components are finished accordingly to the quality standards / process documents
• Inspecting parts before and after processing to ensure preceding operations have been carried out correctly
• Becoming familiar with and be committed to a a right first time approach to all tasks carried out
• Use your previous experience of operating CNC and NC Cylindrical, and Surface grinding machines
• Be able to use measuring equipment and read engineering drawings effectively
