Electrician/ Electrical Craftsperson

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced electrician / electrical craftsperson to join our team.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a highly regulated environment. This will be a NAECI bluebook grade 5

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications
• Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and controls
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections, completing relevant paperwork
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify solutions

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent Apprenticeship
• Level 3 in Electrical Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting. (C&G 2391 or EAL equivalent)
• Level 3 in The Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018 (2022)
• Previous experience in electrical installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of the latest electrical code and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and codes of practice
• Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices – IOSH Managing Safely / IOSH Working Safely
• Have or be able to obtain SC Clearance
