Lab Technician

Are you passionate about creating quality products and creating joy for customers? We are looking for a laboratory technician to join our production team at our retail fulfilment hub based in Nottingham. In this exciting role you’ll play a key role in the manufacture of eyewear to our high-quality standards and to the customer’s prescription and needs.

From ensuring all laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated, to producing high quality eyewear for our customers, we’ll look to you to maintain our high-quality standards and create joy in vision for our customers.

Using your knowledge and skills you’ll provide and accurate and knowledgeable advise and guidance to meet each customer’s specific needs by making recommendations including the selection and purchase of all types of eye-wear and eye care solutions. We’re big on continuous improvement, which is why you’ll be involved in shaping our success. We’ll look to you to make recommendations for opportunity to improve our processes and ways of working.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll have previous experience working in a fast paced production environment and have a good eye for detail along with manual dexterity due to the complexity of the work. Having experience of working within an optical background is advantageous.
