Position Overview & Specifications

Demand Planning Specialist

Location: London Speechmark + (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

Device Operations, Products and Services sits in the Consumer Business Unit (also supporting the Enterprise Business Unit) in Vodafone UK and has a reporting line into Vodafone Group Product & Services. The purpose of our team is to evaluate, build, deliver and manage in life market leading, profitable products & services which deliver great customer experiences.


What you’ll do


  • Deliver robust forecasts - using performance history, analysis & partnering with supply planning counterpart to ensure forecasts are in line with budget, KPIs and business targets.
  • Liaise & support cross functional teams in relation to the demand signal / highlight risks & opportunities.
  • Confident in partnering & collaborating cross functionally with other areas of the business to gain demand consensus.
  • Support the demand planning manager & wider functions as subject matter expert for planning area.
  • Strong team player supporting demand & supply peers.

Who you are

  • Good influencing skills, and a proven track record in driving business results where your personal/business impact can be seen
  • Tenacity, drive and the ability to present complex problems in a simple way
  • Analytical and expansive thinking with a strong desire to deliver and develop
  • A strong communicator who is comfortable communication at all levels
  • Previous experience in a Demand Planning/Forecasting role or Management role
  • Experience with Excel, planning & reporting tools
