Role Purpose


The Digital products portfolio represents different customer facing digital channels such as social messaging, chat, and voice to allow our customers to self-service everything around their products and services. The heart of this represents the Vodafone global TOBi platform, which is an AI-powered chatbot platform which integrates with several channels to serve a consistent customer experience. The aim is to delight our customers with a “wow” effect by making the experience as smooth and intelligent as possible. The platform includes all aspects of an AI-powered system such as Intent Recognition, Dialogue Management, as well as Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech services.

The role owner will be responsible for the integration and the orchestration of all the cognitive services into the global TOBi platform architecture and drive the adoption within the Vodafone markets. The role owner will be measured against the successful implementation and rollout into the Vodafone footprint.
The role includes the ability to understand latest technology trends and convert those into assets. A strong international background is required as the role includes working with international teams as well as the Vodafone footprint across different markets.

The role owner will be part of an agile squad and responsible to deliver the solutions to our markets.

The role owner will work closely with the Service Lifecycle Manager to ensure the project deliveries are handed over to support after launch. The role owner brings a track record in delivering services / apps into different markets / organizations.


With us you will:


  • Product features: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and user requirements. Translate these needs into product features, prioritize them based on value and feasibility, and create a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Product vision and roadmap: Communicate the product vision and roadmap to internal stakeholders, customers, and users. This includes providing regular updates, conducting demos, and soliciting feedback to ensure the product is meeting user needs
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure the product vision is implemented effectively. This includes creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and providing guidance on technical decisions.
  • Product backlog: Maintain a prioritized product backlog that is responsive to changing business and technical needs.
  • Quality and usability: Define and enforce product standards and best practices to ensure the product is delivered with high quality and usability.

Apply if you have:


  • Proven experience and recognized knowledge of integrating platforms and services
  • Expertise in Agile software development environment and methods
  • Strong time-management skills and being comfortable working under pressure
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent organisational, presentation and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes Services and Cognitive technologies (NLU, Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text)
  • Experience on Azure or AWS
  • Good understanding of Restful design principles and familiarity with technologies like Swagger, JSON, and HTTP.


Must have technical / professional qualifications:


  • Higher education degree in IT/Engineering or related field
  • Experience in agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solution design
