Trainee Designer (507987)

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Designer to join our Birmingham Signalling Design team.

Key accountabilities

If you hold a recognised engineering qualification (or are working towards) and are looking for a new challenge this could provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop a career in an ever growing industry.

Skills & experience

In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following:

• Minimum ONC in a recognised Electrical engineering discipline
• Previous experience of working within an engineering environment (desirable)
• Demonstrable experience of problem solving and decision making
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and communicate to operational teams
• Computer literate and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (CAD Software desirable)
• Working to tight deadlines in a time critical environment
• Working within a team and following detailed instructions

In addition you will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent organisational ability and interpersonal skills.
