Wallis & Son Ltd is an established family run business which has been specialising in the motor trade since 1937. The fourth generation of the family now leads a dependable team at their site in the picturesque village of Barton just on the outskirts of Cambridge. In addition to operating a busy modern workshop, cars sales and prestige car hire department we also have a Gulf fuel petrol site with a forecourt shop which has just undertaken a full renovation.

Our forecourt shop is unique in the fact that in addition to stocking everyday items we also specialise in American confectionery, snacks, breakfast items and baking goods. The shop also offers hot food to go and a coffee station.

We are now looking for a member of staff to join our established team of Forecourt Assistants to work 19 hours per week covering the following shifts:

Tuesday 4pm-10pm, Wednesday 4pm-10pm and Sunday 2pm - 9pm.

The hourly rate is £11.75 per hour. You will be entitled to 22 days holiday pro rata per annum plus bank holidays plus your birthday. Additional shifts will be available as overtime.

The role will include:

Till Operation

Restocking of shelves

Rotation of stock

Handling daily deliveries

Cooking Hot Food

Maintaining Coffee Machine

Ensuring the shop floor is kept clean and tidy.

Full training will be given but previous experience of working in a retail environment will be hugely beneficial.
