Position Overview & Specifications
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 staff nurses to join an innovative team of nurses delivering care in a nurse led clinic setting. The aim of the service is to keep care closer to home, minimising admission to hospital and facilitating an earlier discharge. The role provides excellent opportunities to be an advocate for patients and families and strengthens skills in decision making and autonomous care planning.
Children and young people with medical and surgical diagnoses are seen within the service, with ages from birth to 18years. Most are under school age.
