Who we are and what we do?

We Buy Books is a service designed to help our customers make money from the well-loved books they no longer need.

We are one of the leading used book buyers and the 5th largest Amazon seller in the UK. Our objective is to buy books from bibliophiles wanting to sell for cash; and either recycling or finding second homes for them.

We are dedicated to helping our customers dust off their shelves and clear space in their homes: downsizing their towering piles of second-hand books whilst simultaneously passing on the joy of reading to others.

We love passing books on to brand new owners, but we are also committed to making a difference to the environment. We recycle old books and are accredited with the Environment Agency as authorised waste brokers and carriers. Our registration number is CB/FM3359JA.

The opportunity.

Commencing immediately, the role is to process incoming stock onto the company’s inventory system, Candidates should be able to work to strict targets and be familiar with computers. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret information given to them and make a quick decision based on this. From time to time the successful candidate may be asked to help elsewhere within the warehouse.

Hours:

We are currently recruiting for full time & part time.

Up to 42.5 Hours per week. Excluding weekends

The role is designed to work around the available house of the candidate should they not want full time hours. This could work in line with the school run or other commitments. The hours however once agreed will be set and the same each week.

A competitive Salary.
