Allocations Officer (£30,478 per annum, full-time, permanent/fixed-term)
Job Role
We are looking for three Allocations Officers, one permanent and two fixed term until 22 December 2023. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the process of letting our homes runs smoothly.
We are looking for energetic people who have good communication skills and are confident on the telephone to provide an excellent customer experience. You will be dealing with residents, applicants, colleagues from other departments, housing associations and local authorities and it’s important that you build and maintain good working relationships to ensure that our homes are let as quickly and efficiently as possible.
You’ll manage the process all the way from placing an advert right through to accompanying potential tenants to a viewing, so you will need to have the use of a car, be flexible, personable and able to juggle a demanding but varied workload. You’ll also be involved in our mutual exchanges and decanting residents, often on short notice, when they will need to be temporarily housed for any reason.
The role involves a lot of computer work, wo you will need to have good IT skills and be confident using different packages. Ideally you will have worked in housing, but if not you will have some knowledge of the sector and transferable skills.

Location Details
The role will be based in our Sevenoaks Office however we offer a flexible approach to hybrid working, typically our full-time colleagues base themselves in the office twice a week.
