Aerotron Composites Ltd is a privately owned company which is part of the Aerotron Group of aviation companies. We have a new purpose-built facility in Chatteris, focussing on manufacturing aircraft components for several major Aerospace and Defence OEMs. We are currently looking for a design engineering apprentice to join their team.
We have a number of positions available for the September 2022 intake and are looking for people that are starting their career and want to develop a new set of hands-on skills, build a career path, and join a growing company. We will provide full training to develop the skills and knowledge you need as a Composite Technician or engineer; we want you to bring the enthusiasm and attitude to succeed. Final roles are available across all areas from:
- Kit Cutting
- Laminating and Clave
- CNC, Paint, Trim, Inspection and engineering
- Hands on and a can-do attitude
- Confident and able to adapt to tasks required
- Hard working and reliable
- Punctual and committed in all aspects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
5 GCSE Passes, grades 4/C and above
Training to be provided
- The learner will be studying the Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard qualification.
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Apprenticeship salary, 28 days holiday including statutory and public holidays, option to join company pension scheme, AXA healthcare
scheme (after 1 year service), free on site car parking, canteen facility and the benefit of a newly equipped gym for staff use.
