Job Summary
We are a Peterborough based company specialising in equipment hire and production services to the corporate, fashion and entertainment event sector. We are looking for a new member to join our team. The role will be based at our modern warehouse & offices in the Fengate area of Peterborough.
The successful candidate will need to show a very keen interest in event production equipment as well as a good working knowledge of what does what. Experience would be a bonus – but not essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Specific Duties Including:
· Prepping & De-Prepping sound, lighting, video and rigging equipment under the supervision of our inventory manager
· Performing basic maintenance on equipment
· Helping to load and unload vehicles
· Operating and inputting data into our rental management system
· Learning other roles that exist in the company – such as preparing set & staging equipment to be able to provide cover when other staff are on leave
· General warehouse cleaning & tidying duties as part of a rota system
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualities:
· 1st class English language & excellent communication skills
· A keen eye for detail & consistency
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage own workload.
· Ability to multi-task and to drop in & out of tasks as kit becomes available.
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 40 working hours – 08:30 to 17:00. Monday to Friday
Salary: £10.50 p/h
