An exciting opportunity to work in a well established medium sized chartered accountants practice situated in the centre of Edinburgh.
We are looking to recruit 3 graduates to take part in our graduate training programme in tax. We have created a first-class training and development programme and by starting your career at Whitelaw Wells, in addition to the comprehensive on the job training, you will also be given all the support you need to complete tax exams in ATT then onto CTA, including online tuition and study days with internal mentoring. We are looking for graduates who are taking their first steps into tax. We will also take on graduates who have started their ATT or CTA studies elsewhere.
Full training and support will be provided. Duties will include assistance with the preparation of self assessment and income expenditure statements for clients and also assist your colleagues with obtaining information for the completion of accounts and tax returns. As well as providing tax administration, you will also be communicating with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of taxation.
We have a wide range of clients within the practice and as your skills and technical experience grow within the firm over time, you would be allocated clients according to your skill and experience level and eventually be able to expand into new areas of tax depending on your technical interest.
