We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Frontend Developer to join our collaborative cross-functional engineering team, working on the latest cutting-edge technologies and be part of an extended team that changes lives through distance learning!

For an experienced Frontend Developer to join a team of engineers, in a role that you make your own, you will play an integral part in supporting the team, and business, in bringing innovative ideas to support digital transformation projects.

Full Time: Permanent role

Location: Remote - Office in Central London

Salary: Up to £60,000, dependant on experience

What it's all about…

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and improving user interfaces for new platforms.
  • Choosing appropriate tools and technologies to meet the technology roadmap.
  • Conducting peer reviews and adhering to coding standards.
  • Performing integration and end-to-end testing.
  • Creating well-crafted web interfaces and writing high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Generating innovative ideas, theories, and technical concepts.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in frontend development.

What we will need from you…

  • Demonstrated expertise in building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites/applications.
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS/SCSS.
  • Understanding of creating and maintaining reusable components.
  • Experience in developing and consuming APIs, along with familiarity with JavaScript standards.
  • Solid understanding of factors that affect website performance and ability to implement recommended optimizations.
  • A creative and passionate individual with an active interest in the industry.
  • Motivated to stay updated with the latest techniques and best practices in frontend development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating with various audiences.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to think quickly and comprehend problems before devising effective solutions.
