Content Writer

Purpose of the role:

Our enthusiastic writers spend the majority of their day creating original, informative and engaging deals to appear on the Wowcher and LivingSocial sites. From a 5 spa day to a 10-India cruise or even a mystery gadget deal, a Content Executive will use sharp wit and (some might say) one too many puns to market the deal in the best possible way. We work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that is ideal for an individual who thrives under pressure. Our close-knit team supports each other, and also work closely with the sales and analysts teams to further develop and hone their skills, achieving high standards of accuracy and engagement.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Creating content for deals across the Wowcher and LivingSocial sites
• Ensuring each and every deal reads well, is grammatically accurate and factually correct
• Communicating any stylistic updates or deal changes to the relevant parties
• Producing regular blog posts on a variety of beauty, lifestyle and travel topics
• Sourcing images and editing them using Photoshop (if applicable)
• Ad hoc writing of marketing and social media content

Requirements:

• Content Management System knowledge
• Basic Photoshop skills (beneficial, but not essential)
• Previous writing experience whether that be in a formal work position or clear passion for writing
• Time-keeping skills, attention to details, and fast and efficient working mindset
