Part of the major American corporation, PCC, we are a global manufacturer of complex metal components and supply products worldwide to our prestigious blue-chip customers.
An opportunity has arisen for a recent Graduate to join our Finance team based in Livingston, Central Scotland. Candidates should be educated to degree or masters level within a Finance, Accounting or Business discipline and be prepared to study further to obtain professional qualifications, which will be supported by the Company. You should also have a passion for pursuing a financial career path, with the drive and ambition to develop into a future leader within our business.
The role will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the weekly and monthly management accounts as well as the Financial Quarterly Review pack, carrying out balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and assisting with the calculation of accruals and prepayments. You will also be required to assist with the maintenance and testing of internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, as well as assisting with product costing and maintenance of information within the standard costing system. The role will also provide the opportunity to work with other departments to develop and implement improvement plans and cost reduction initiatives.
You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision, excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong IT capabilities. You will also need to be highly numerate, organised, confident, energetic and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to working. Prior experience working within a financial role is advantageous.
