Furniture Sales Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a full time experienced Furniture Sales Assistant.

30 hours per week, 5 days between Monday - Saturday.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in one to one sales, passionate about furniture and interiors, have a willingness to go above and beyond what is required to insure the efficient operation of the department.

Our product range covers a comprehensive range of home furnishings, so attention to detail is imperative.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and offer your assistance when they enter the shop
• Provide customers with product information, such as prices, sizes and stock availability
• Process customer sales orders through our computerised stock system, including arranging home deliveries and collections
• Stock merchandising and replenishment

Ideal candidate must:

• Have a friendly and positive attitude
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Have an ability and willingness to familiarise yourself with our products and use this to drive sales
• Have an ability to prioritise tasks in a very busy and demanding retail environment
• Have merchandising skills to present our products with an eye for detail
• Be available to work Sundays and late nights at busy Christmas period
• Be competent in the use of computer systems

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear face coverings and use had sanitiser while in store. There is perspex at the till areas and hand sanitiser, masks, visors and gloves available for all staff.
