Position Overview & Specifications

React Developers in London Wanted

We are looking for talented React developers with good experience to join our forward thinking development team. Xanda is a successfull digital media agency with an amazing client list. The role is within our highly skilled cloud development division working to make our front ends engaging, intuitive and impressive. You will be working from our impressive North London officesMonday -Friday delivering high quality projects whilst helping to innovate and improve our development processes. High coding standards, development experience, problem solving abilities and communication skills are essential to the role.

Starting Salary

£35,000 to £55,000+ /year – considering skills and experience – negotiable

Required skills

  • Excellent knowledge of React
  • Excellent knowledge of Javascript/Nodejs/Typescript
  • Excellent knowledge HTML/CSS
  • Extensive experience working with Rest APIs
  • Commercial experience with Unit Testing (preferable Jest)
  • Experience with automated testing platforms and static code analysis
  • Experience with cloud computing ecosystems
  • Exposure to and appreciation of software engineering best practices applied to data

(eg. version control, CI/CD, InfoSec principles)

Advantageous skills

  • Previous commercial experience with GraphQL
  • Familiarity with Atlassian toolset an advantage
  • Proven hands-on Software Development experience in a business environment
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum

  • Be able to deliver projects from inception to completion often working with a broad mix of individuals and companies with diverse skill sets.
  • Possess outstanding attention to detail and understand the need for high quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with various companies (vendors, operators & others) to provide technical recommendations and specifications for wider industry adoption.
  • Be highly experienced in the Agile methodology and processes with a hands-on approach to assist with the design and prototyping for product backlog and road-mapped features.
  • Be able to work towards deadlines, being personally resilient and able to handle, at times, the pressure of a demanding workload and complex client needs.

Location

Xanda operate out of our North London offices very close to East Finchley tube station on the Northern Line.
