IT Technician

We are a multi award-winning game development studio that specialises in immersive VR games. The studio has a history of full-scale development from concept through to submission, working with prestigious partners such as Sony Pictures VR, Meta, and Rovio Entertainment.

Since 2020 our team has grown from 20 full-time members to almost 100 by the close of 2022, due to the success and critical acclaim of our previous projects such as Zombieland: Headshot Fever and The Angry Birds Movie 2 VR: Under Pressure.

Throughout 2023 & 2024 our team will be working on multiple major projects with recognisable IPs and licences as we continue to grow and invest in our future.

We’re looking for an IT Technician to join our team. Your role will be to provide general IT support for people in a number of roles as well as play a key part in processing change in our growing company. The right person will have 1-2 years experience and be very customer facing with excellent customer service skills. You will also be used to working in a smaller environment and team rather than as part of a huge corporate structure.

Responsibilities Include:

• Management & configuration of Active Directory Environment
• Building & Fixing PCs
• Purchasing Hardware and Software
• Adhering to Security Protocol, Process and Procedures
• Office Network Setup/Maintenance
• Backup Infrastructure Maintenance
• VPN Setup & Maintenance
• Inventory Management
• Software License & Account management
• General Office & IT support.

Requirements:

• Experience within an IT Support role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership
• Good Knowledge of PC hardware and software
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks effectively
• Basic IT networking
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Our studio is based in Leeds and for this role to be successful you will need to be based in the office with the occasional option to work in a hybrid manner.
