Position Overview & Specifications

Yolk Recruitment is actively working with a renowned company based in South Wales to find a highly skilled Shift Production Manager . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the manufacturing function. As the Shift Production Manager , you will report directly to the Manufacturing and Logistics Controller, leading the manufacturing operations within budget and driving output targets to meet customer requirements and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement key manufacturing strategies aligned with the company's initiatives.
  • Oversee plant production, financial performance, and the smooth execution of planned activities.
  • Monitor daily KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to optimise stock throughput and meet production targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and people management abilities with experience working as a Production Shift Manager or Supervisor for at least 3 years .
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, planning, and decision-making.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a Production management role.
  • Degree-level education.
