Adult Care Assistant (12 hour home sits)

Your Choice 4 Care Ltd is seeking an experienced Adult Care Worker to work on selected 12-hour shifts at our client’s private home. The majority of the shifts on offer will be daytime shifts.

We are looking for a candidate with experience, knowledge, and skillsets within the care sector. This role could suit candidates who have or are working within care homes or as a P.A giving more focused care.

Key Details

As an in-home support carer, you will be expected to have your own form of transport for commuting to and from the clients home to provide care and companionship to our client in their own home from:

· Night Shift: 8 pm to 8 am throughout the full week when required.

· Day Shift: 8 am to 8 pm throughout the full week when required.

Further information

· It is essential we provide the client consistency to build a form of trust and comfort knowing the same members of staff will be attending regularly .

· During the day you will have one of our domiciliary carers assist with lifting and other two person tasks.

· You'll have your own bed and are permitted to sleep for night shifts.

· The client will give you access to Wi-Fi.

Care Assistant Requirements

· A genuine passion and desire to provide a consistently high level of quality care.

· A friendly, sympathetic, and supportive attitude towards vulnerable adults.

· Reliable and flexible in availability.

· Be able to provide evidence of previous training & skills. (Ideally a Care Certificate or NVQ)

· Individuals with their own transport (Ideally)

· Individuals expected to make their own way to work.

· Warm-hearted, joyful, and determined individuals, who love to bring out the best in others and improve their independance.

· Empathy and patience to support older people lead fulfilling lives.

· Commitment, reliability, and a mature and proactive approach to situations that comes from life experience.

· Good verbal and written communication in English

· Good record keeping.

· Proof of right to work in the UK.

Salary: £90.00-£140.00 per day
