Your Local Tutors was initially a small service operating out of the founder's residential home in Wimbledon. Eventually, our founder became exceptionally busy spending her weekends legging it around London to visit her favourite little ones. Since then, Your Local Tutors has taken the bull by the horns and expanded the service to be there when children and families need us the most. It is no longer run by the founder alone as we have a range of tutors and specialise in connecting them to the children who need us. Our work often involves supporting a student to catch up with the curriculum, prepping students for sitting an entry exam, assisting them to master a particular topic or mentoring to build up confidence- whatever it is, we're here! At Your Local Tutors, we aim to leave all of our students feeling a little more empowered and a lot more inspired.

Could you help us on our mission?

We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors! We are looking for a tutor in Fulham/Putney/Wandsworth/surrounding areas for one of the vacant roles that we have in Fulham (the student lives in SW6) . The role entails tutoring a 6 year old in coding and the tutor will be paid £20ph. Please do read the eligibility criteria below carefully to ensure that you meet the requirements for this role.

ELIGIBILITY:

• The tutor must live within the Fulham/Putney/Wandsworth/surrounding areas, the right candidate will live no more than 30 minutes away from SW6 where the student resides (REQUIRED)
• MUST have some experience working with children and previous experience working in, studying or teaching at least one of the following: coding/IT/computer science specifically (REQUIRED)
• Must be available for weekly face to face sessions on at least one of the following: Tuesday's after 5.30pm or Wednesday's after 4.30pm (REQUIRED)
• Be available for an immediate start (IDEALLY)
• We especially welcome and encourage applications from teaching assistants, teachers and anyone with previous teaching/tutoring experience (DESIRABLE)
