We are looking to recruit experienced, forward thinking LGV Class 1 Drivers to take to the roads and deliver products for one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.

The Role
As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the collection of automotive products from our client’s suppliers.
Ensuring the designated routes are adhered to, you will undertake route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
You will complete the required documentation, ensuring all stock information is recorded accurately and appropriately, as well as ensuring service level agreements are maintained.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and functioning vehicle, completing checks regularly and correctly and reporting any issues.
Please note that we operate throughout the day and night so you will need to be completely flexible on start times.

About You
To be considered as an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A minimum of 12 months’ LGV CE Class 1 driving experience
• To be aged 21 or over (due to insurance reasons)
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• A good working knowledge of Working Time Regulations
• A DCPC driver qualification
• A current Digital Tachograph Card
• To be able to work various start times as we operate both daytime and night time shift patterns
• To be able to work collaboratively within a team environment
