Change Management Consultant (Lead / Practice Lead)

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Change Management Lead with a background in any of the scientific industries – Life Sciences, Chemicals, Foods, Energy, Technology, and others. Experience in delivering transformations around scientific informatics aspects and a strong background in data-driven change is expected.

We work for many science-led customers including nine out of the top ten global biopharma companies. Our customers are investing on their Scientific Informatics and Digital Transformation to accelerate the discovery, the development and manufacturing of new Products, Therapeutics, Drugs and Vaccines. Consequently, we are very rapidly growing and looking to expand our Consulting team in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving and growing organisation and help leading science-based industries deploy and support cutting edge digital change globally.

As a Lead Consultant, you will be leading engagements for the R&D and Manufacturing divisions of our customers. You will take Zifo’s customers through change journeys by understanding their business challenges and strategic objectives, assessing their change readiness, creating strategies to implement change overcoming organisational barriers with minimum negative impacts, and roadmap the transformations you propose.

This role is Europe based and will function as the Practice Lead for Change Management in Zifo Europe. Work location is flexible and job can be performed remotely. Ability to travel occasionally will be necessary, to engage in in-person discussions with clients and colleagues.

Core Responsibilities:
Design and implement change management strategies and plans that support the successful adoption of digitalization initiatives, with a focus on organisational change

Lead cross-functional teams to execute large transformation programmes, including training, engagement and communication and adoption efforts

Work closely with the consulting team, customer success teams and rest of the Zifo organisation to ensure change management is an integral part of our transformational value propositions to customers

Develop and deliver training programmes in Change Management internally in Zifo to educate junior consultants and other colleagues with interest and stake in addressing change-related issues effectively for clients

Measure and monitor adoption of transformations on behalf of customers as a means of assessing realisation of benefits

Create change frameworks and standardise/regularise them for various market segments and business problem-solving situations Zifo is engaged in

Recruit change management consultants to build capacity in the change practice to serve the growing needs of industry

Line management responsibility for a small set of consultants

Ideally you will have:
Extensive experience in a science-driven industry (examples listed above)

A background in R&D, Manufacturing, or Applied Psychology in Digital settings

Sufficient years’ experience in change management, with a strong track record of leading successful transformation initiatives

Ability to start new engagements and conversations at the highest level within a customer

Experience in management or digital consulting, programme management and leadership

Strong knowledge and understanding of change management methodologies, industry frameworks and good practices

Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking and Decision Making

Ability to work in fast-changing environments with a need to juggle multiple priorities

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and a self-starting, proactive approach

Strong exposure to IT and Data processes and methodologies

Experience serving organisations of various sizes, missions and leadership cultures

Nice to have:
A working understanding of Solution Architecture, Data Modelling and Governance, Data Sciences, cloud-based solutions, Big Data, RPA, Analytics/ Business Intelligence, AI/ML
