At exmox, data is the compass that guides product, commercial, and financial decisions. We are moving away from siloed analyst roles and building interdisciplinary data teams where AI, specifically Claude, handles the heavy lifting of routine analysis, freeing analysts to focus on judgment, framing, and impact. 

As a Senior Data Analyst (f/m/x), you will operate as a generalist across product, commercial, and financial questions, using Claude and Databricks daily rather than as an occasional tool, and you will grow alongside the team as it evolves toward deeper data engineering and ML capability.

What You'll Own:

• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Support, Fraud, and LiveOps teams to bring clarity to ambiguous problems and support decisions with evidence.
• Turn vague business questions, product or commercial, into structured hypotheses, experiments, and decision-ready analyses.
• Use Claude and Databricks as core tools for analysis and automation, not just for dashboarding, including working with high frequency data updating every few minutes rather than static daily aggregates.
• Track and analyze performance across product, campaign, revenue, and profitability dimensions, adapting focus to wherever decision support is most needed.
• Build dashboards and self-service tools that let teams monitor performance without repeated ad hoc requests.
• Identify gaps in tracking and data quality early, and help improve instrumentation across domains.
• Absorb new business context quickly when redeployed to a different stakeholder team, contributing decision-ready work within weeks.
• Share your thinking openly, from quick prototypes to final recommendations, to help the team learn faster.

• Product, commercial, and financial decisions are driven by evidence: Your work directly shapes prioritization, budget allocation, and go/no go calls across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Risks and opportunities are identified early: Margin erosion, engagement drops, and high-LTV pockets are surfaced before they become obvious.
• You operate across domains without losing time: When moving from one business question to another, you ramp quickly and start contributing within weeks, not months.
• You drive the shift toward AI-heavy analytics: You use Claude to move faster and push the team's tooling forward rather than waiting for it to be handed to you.

• Experienced: 5+ years of experience in product, business, or behavioral analytics, ideally spanning more than one domain (product, marketing, finance, or commercial operations); B2C, mobile gaming, or AdTech experience is a plus.

• AI Fluency: Genuine hands-on experience working with AI tools like Claude as part of your daily workflow, not just occasional use.

• Technical Expertise: Strong Databricks and/or Spark experience with several years of real, hands on exposure; strong SQL and Python skills for analysis, automation, and modeling; BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) for dashboarding.

• Analytical and Performance-Driven Mindset: Comfortable framing ambiguous questions into structured hypotheses and evaluating experiments (A/B tests, incrementality).

• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills, able to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders through structured, data-driven argumentation.

• Independent and solution-oriented mindset: Comfortable operating in fast-paced, international environments.

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany, working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
