Senior HR Specialist - Recruiting & Onboarding (m/f/d) in Berlin or Konstanz

As an HR Specialist - Recruiting & Onboarding at KNIME, you will own the end-to-end recruitment cycle and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new team members. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you will optimize candidate pipelines using modern HR tech, ATS platforms, and AI-driven tools. This role offers the opportunity to shape recruitment marketing, foster diversity, and continually refine our hiring workflows in a fast-paced software environment.

• Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs and drive the full end-to-end recruitment cycle.

• Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and lead behavioral interviews to evaluate technical baseline and cultural alignment.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews while building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.

• Drive a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy, supporting recruitment marketing and job ad promotion across relevant channels.

• Maintain clean ATS records, analyze candidate funnels, and prepare hiring reports to guide recruitment decisions.

• Manage operational pre-boarding and onboarding processes to deliver a smooth integration for new joiners.

• Test, evaluate, and roll out AI tools to streamline sourcing, screening, and HR processes.

• Proven track record sourcing and hiring across both the US and German tech/software markets, with a solid understanding of the cultural and operational nuances of both regions. 

• Hands-on experience with ATS tools (e.g., Personio or Ashby) and a high level of digital savviness.

• Clear communication and active listening skills with a strong customer-centric focus on candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Strong team player with an agile, pragmatic mindset and excellent organizational skills.

• Practical interest in or active experience leveraging AI tools to optimize sourcing, candidate engagement, and onboarding. 

• High standards of confidentiality and data integrity.

• Fluency in both German and English.

• Establish strong, trust-based working relationships with hiring managers and maintain clean, transparent candidate pipelines across active requisitions.

• Deliver an efficient end-to-end recruitment process that maintains high satisfaction rates for both candidates and hiring managers.

• Streamline pre-boarding and onboarding workflows to ensure new KNIMErs receive high operational support and a smooth integration into the company.

• Successfully pilot and integrate AI tools to enhance sourcing and hiring efficiency.
