Role Overview & Responsibilities

Marathon Warehouse Distribution has been trading for in excess of 30 years and are a fast expanding automotive distribution company currently recruiting for enthusiastic warehouse operatives based in our Redditch National Distribution Centre.

You will be working a 9 hour day Mon-Fri with overtime sometimes available..

Marathon is a fast growing independent national warehouse distributor with a network of delivery depots across the country.

You will report to the relevant team leader/supervisor and your duties will be to ensure a smooth process for our fast paced parcel/warehouse team, duties will include picking of stock, putting away of stock, un-loading of delivery lorries, cleanliness of the centre etc. Full training will be given and you will be expected to work as part of a team.

Applicant/s should be able to work independently however the role is working as part of a supervised team.

No previous experience is necessary although willingness to learn with a positive attitude is something we expect from all our employees.

Marathon Warehouse Distribution employs team leaders, supervisors, and management within our Redditch National Distribution Centre. We very much pride ourselves on promoting from within so for the right candidate progression is readily available.

We operate a pay scheme whereby £10.50 per hour is the starting rate of pay but there are also two other incremental hourly rates that can be achieved quickly based on the right candidates ability, aptitude and attitude to work.
