What we’re all about.

Quantexa is a global leader in AI-powered Decision Intelligence. As one of the UK's fastest-growing tech companies, we're on a mission to help organizations make better, more trusted decisions. As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic Group Reporting team.

At Q, we’re looking for people who share that vision. People like you.

The opportunity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced, high-growth global technology environment. Sitting in our Group Reporting team, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end close, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance across multiple international entities.

This role offers valuable exposure to global operations, complex cost structures, and cutting-edge financial systems. Beyond standard transactional accounting, you will have direct opportunities to lead financial analysis, generate commercial insights, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams across our business.

What you’ll be doing.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform monthly P&L analysis, investigating and documenting key movements, trends, and variances.

  • Prepare and present insightful month-end commentary to the Finance Manager and wider team.

  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring any differences are fully explained and resolved.

  • Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and strategic project work.

Month-End Close & Cost Management

  • Prepare expense accrual and prepayment journals at month-end.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of the Group’s fixed asset registers.

  • Support the Accounts Payable team with timely invoice processing and accurate cost coding.

  • Review pending/disputed bills and new purchase requests to determine and post adequate accruals.

  • Collaborate on wider month-end close tasks across various Group entities.

Audit & Tax Compliance

  • Assist with Group audit information requests and statutory requirements.

  • Prepare VAT workings and returns in line with local tax regulations.

  • Assist with the preparation of annual corporate tax returns for regulatory filings.

  • Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and high-quality documentation standards.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance reporting efficiency.

  • Support the adoption and integration of new finance tools and ERP systems into daily workflows.

What you’ll bring.

  • Experience: A solid background in finance, ideally gained in a similar management accounting or assistant accountant role.

  • Qualification: Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent progress.

  • Technical Accounting: A robust understanding of accruals, prepayments, and the rhythm of a month-end close.

  • International Exposure: Prior experience with multi-entity accounting and international operations is highly desirable.

  • Systems & Excel: Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must; familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and automation tools is a plus.

  • Mindset: An analytical thinker who is comfortable turning raw data into actionable business insights.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to partner with global teams.

  • Adaptability: A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Our mission.

We have one mission. To help businesses grow. To make data easier. And to make the world a better place. We’re not a start-up. Not anymore. But we’ve not been around that long either. What we are is a collection of bright, passionate minds harnessing complexities and helping our clients and their communities. One culture, made of many. Heading in one direction – the future.

It’s all about you.

We want you to feel welcome, valued, and respected - because it’s your individuality and passion that make you Q. We see that, and we celebrate it. That’s why we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, continuously improving to ensure everyone belongs. Our recruitment process is designed to be inclusive and accessible. If you need any reasonable adjustments or accommodations, please let our Talent Acquisition Team know - we’re happy to assist.

No matter your race, beliefs, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, neurodiversity, or abilitiesβ€”whoever you areβ€”if you're a passionate, curious, and caring human eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible, we want to hear from you.
